​The PhD program in Applied Psychology aims to promote advanced training in applied psychology research, contributing to the advancement​ of knowledge, and the training of researchers and professionals with high scientific skills. This purpose is embodied in a training focused on the acquisition of research skills in applied contexts, and in the development of in-depth knowledge in the specific domains of candidate's projects. Throughout the 6 semesters, students will be engaged in a program that promotes the development of: 1. research methodology skills; and, qualitative and quantitative data analysis; and, 2. advanced knowledge and skills in specific scientific domains in Psychology: clinical, educational, and justice / forensics. All students are integrated into research units according to their research topic, and their individual research projects are developed in research teams.
