Miguel M. Gonçalves is a psychologist and professor at the School of Psychology at the University of Minho.
His main interests are change processes and process-outcome research in psychotherapy with adults. He is also interested in naturalistic outcome studies in psychotherapy. He is closely involved in developing the European Psychotherapy Consortium (EPoC), which was created within the European Chapter of the Society for Psychotherapy Research.
He is currently the coordinator of the Psychology Forum, a Portuguese Association of Psychologists structure that brings together all university psychology teaching institutions.
He is co-editor of the Journal of Constructivist Psychology (Taylor & Francis) and was previously associate editor of Psychotherapy Research (Routledge).
