The master's program intends for students to:
1. Recognize the pathologies that can affect the brain structures and/or functional systems of the central nervous system;
2. Critically evaluate the potential and limitations of the various techniques used to study brain-mind relationships;
3. Discuss and evaluate current models and empirical results on specific topics of cognition and the brain;
4. Understand how different cognitive, affective, and emotional processes are related to different types of response patterns in different brain areas.
