The central axes of the formative proposal of the Master in Psychology of Work and Organizations (MPWO) are the development of a multidisciplinary and integrated perspective in the understanding of human behavior in the organizational context as well as a critical posture and intellectual curiosity, based on scientific and ethically responsible evidence.

It is intended that future professionals in this area develop evaluation and intervention skills, based on knowledge of descriptive and explanatory theories and theories of intervention and change, in the domains recognized by the Portuguese Psychologists Order (PPO) and the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP): the Psychology of Work, the Psychology of Organizations and the Psychology of Human Resources, reflected in the curricular units of the Course Plan. In addition, it endows on a strong professional component, with clear investment in the curricular internship as visible in the curriculum plan.
