The DPBP has the duration of three years (a quarter is optional) and all Curricular Units (CU) have an annual format. The curriculum combines the existence of CUs in which students learn the main facts, theories and research techniques in the different areas of Basic Psychology, with optional CUs that seek to respond to the main needs and interests of the students. It also includes CUs that involve the development and implementation of the student research project, as well as the tutorial supervision of all the research work developed that will culminate in the presentation and defense of the dissertation. The fourth year is optional and involves the continuation of thesis work, for those who did not complete it in the third year.
