The TCCS is a transcript-based method developed to analyze the therapeutic collaboration at a moment-by-moment level (Ribeiro et al., 2013). Each therapist-client adjacency pair is evaluated in the context of the client's immediately preceding turn and more broadly the previous interaction during the session.
Using the Therapeutic Collaboration Coding System (TCCS) requires an intensive training. In the last years, our team's researchers have been trained in the TCCS and currently our team includes a number of reliable researchers that are involved in our research coding work and are also available to participate in the training of future researchers. Usually the training develops in a bi-weekly bases, taking around three months. The process of training involves different steps.
